Hace poco en un foro del TS2000 corría esta receta.
He de decir que yo no la he probado y por lo tanto esta fuera de toda responsabilidad el que aqui lo transcribe.
A ver si hay alguien que tenga algun equipo cerca y nos cuenta. Por cierto dice el "colega" que le ha sacado 250W a su TS2000... jejeje no se yo!!

Good Evening Gents,
It was definately a pleasure to make your acquaintance on the frequency this evening. In regards to the mod for the TS 2000, I'm a bit shocked to realize or suspect that not a lot of TS 2000 owners knows about these mods. And it ever benefit UHF and VHF operators more as the firmware upgrade is to improve features and performance on these modes.

Now to the meat of the matter. There are two software programs to be downloaded, one from the kenwood site and the other from what I can guess to be a link to a Kenwood server or someone's personal repository.

If you check out the Yahoo Groups site on the TS 2000 you also see the information I'm about to post here, and I'll also suggest you visit and look at the Adjustment menu as it entails 126 options vice the 62 of the User menu. Also, you see literature on the step by step process to accomplish the mods.
Due to the fact that I've done my own and several others via the radio and phone I'll be more than happy to walk you through the process as it isn't that technical as pertrayed in the website's literature.

My numbers are 540 891 0332 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 540 891 0332 end_of_the_skype_highlighting(h) or 540 907 0822 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 540 907 0822 end_of_the_skype_highlighting(c). A friend of mine I assisted with the mod stated it best when he said that Kenwood sold him a TS 200 and not until he did this mod he now have a TS 2000. Then When Ready The Orginal Software Back to the Radio
These are Some expirience From Myself And it is realy Good working !!!!
Every Time When you change somthing in the menu Do`nt forget to write down
the orginal settings of your radio !!!!
It Is realy important because when something is not working the way you
like the change it again in orgiorginal setting.
